It is with upmost honor and privilege to support Families through such a momentous occasion:
The Birth of their Child.
I have had the honor of working with many Families as a Birth & Postpartum Doula, Former Intern for Health Foundations Birth Center, Certified HypnoBirthing Doula, Certified Lactation Counselor, Newborn Care Specialist, Childbirth Educator, Certified Infant Sleep Consultant, Former Household Staffing Agency Owner, High Profile/Celebrity Nanny, Accredited La Leche League Leader; with over 20 years of specialized in home newborn/infant care experience, 10 years of professional lactation experience and over 500+ hours of training. I grew up in a large family of 5 brothers and no sisters. My Mom was a surrogate 3 times, studied Midwifery and was very active in the San Francisco Bay Area birth scene. I grew up around lots of Pregnant Women and new babies. As my older Brothers grew up and moved out of the house, my Mom did Foster Care; taking in many babies in crisis. While attending High School, I took on Summer nanny jobs which transcended into consistent Postpartum Doula and Nanny work. I attended my first birth in 2002 while a Freshman in College and I have been inspired by the strength of the Birthing Person ever since.
My College education background is in Child Development with a Minor in Pediatric Nutrition. I pull from my pervious vast experiences, my background and my education to give Families the most up to date evidence based information, full spectrum support and the highest level of care.
I also provide professional Birth Photography .
In March of 2018, I earned a Midwife Assistant credential from The Farm on a path to become a Midwife. I am blessed to have a very supportive Family who understand my around-the-clock, on-call schedule. My Husband, Dan and I met on a blind date, set up by our Parents in Spring of 2002 and we’ve been together ever since. This year we celebrating 14 years of marriage. We have lived in 5 states, 10 homes in 13 years. It has been a crazy-awesome-wild ride! We have two beautiful daughters, Gabriella “Ella” Grace (10) & Ireland Rose (7) who are our whole world. We hope to add to our Family in the near future. When I am not doing Birth Work, You can find me volunteering in my Daughter’s classrooms, baking pastries, decorating, reading, studying medical journals and getting lost in an Antique Shop. I’m a huge History nerd!
My goal is for every Birthing Person to approach the 4th trimester with feelings of empowerment, elation, support, love, pride, peace and contentment about their birthing experiences. I look forward to holding space for anyone who desires full spectrum, non judgement Family Support.
Your Body. Your Birth. Your Baby. Your Day. Your Way.
