Meet Jessica

It is with upmost honor and privilege to support Families through such a momentous occasion:

The Birth of their Child.

I have had the honor of working with many Families as a Birth & Postpartum Doula, Former Intern for Health Foundations Birth Center,  Certified HypnoBirthing Doula, Certified Lactation Counselor, Newborn Care Specialist, Childbirth Educator, Certified Infant Sleep Consultant, Former Household Staffing Agency Owner, High Profile/Celebrity Nanny, Accredited La Leche League Leader; with over 18 years of specialized in home newborn/infant care experience, 9 years of professional lactation experience and over 500+ hours of training. I attended my first birth in 2002 while in College and I have been inspired by the strength of the Birthing Person ever since. I am also the Lead Director and Creator of a Non Profit Organization, called No Mama Left Behind. This is a nation wide collective of Birth Workers who support Mothers in Crisis. Our mission is to support Women through tough times with compassion, empowerment and non judgement.

My College Education background is in Child Development with a Minor in Pediatric Nutrition. I pull from my pervious vast experiences, my background and my education to give Families the most up to date evidence based information, full spectrum support and the highest level of care.

I also provide professional Birth Photography .

In March of 2018, I earned a Midwife Assistant credential from Ina May Gaskin’s The Farm on a path to become a Midwife.  I am blessed to have a very supportive Family who understand my around-the-clock, on-call schedule. My Husband, Dan and I met on a blind date, set up by our Parents in Spring of 2002 and we’ve been together ever since. This year we will be celebrating 13 years of marriage. We have lived in 5 states, 10 homes in 13 years. It has been a crazy-awesome-wild ride! We have two beautiful daughters, Gabriella “Ella” Grace (10) & Ireland Rose (6)  who are the light of our life. We hope to add to our Family in the near future. When I am not doing Birth Work, You can find me volunteering in my Daughter’s classrooms, baking pastries and walking around Antique Shops.

My goal is for every Birthing Person to approach the 4th trimester with feelings of empowerment, elation, support, love, pride, peace and contentment about their birthing experiences. I look forward to holding space for anyone who desires full spectrum, non judgement Family Support.

Your Body. Your Birth. Your Baby. Your Day. Your Way.
